Introduction
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Motorollers mobile application, including its content, features, updates and new releases ("Platform"). The Platform is a community application for owners, fans and followers of Motorola devices in India. It allows users to share posts, articles and polls, join groups, and take part in events and contests (collectively, "Services").
Acceptance of the Terms of Use
Please read these Terms of Use carefully. By accessing the Platform, creating an account, or clicking to accept these Terms of Use, you agree to the terms set out below, as revised from time to time ("Terms"), and enter into a legally binding contract with Motorola Mobility India Private Limited (CIN: U32204KA2009PTC112722), a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956, having its registered office at Bagmane Tech Park, No. 66/1, Plot No. 5, 5th Floor, C.V. Raman Nagar, Bangalore, Karnataka 560093, India (hereinafter referred to as "Motorola", "we", "us" or "our").
The Platform is developed and operated on our behalf by our technology partner, The Marcom Avenue.
These Terms govern your access to and use of the Platform. Your participation in the Motorollers community, including the content you post, community conduct, moderation and contests, is also governed by our Terms and Conditions. Your Personal Data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
These Terms may be updated from time to time. We will notify you in the Platform of any material change before it takes effect. Your continued use of the Platform after the changes take effect will be treated as your acceptance of them. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Motorola grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to access and use the Platform for your personal, non-commercial use.
Eligibility
You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and competent to enter into a contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. The Platform is intended for users in India. The Platform is not available to, and must not be used by, anyone under the age of 18. If we learn that an account belongs to a person under 18, we will close the account and delete the related Personal Data.
Your Account
- To use the Platform, you must create a user account ("Account") which will serve as your user profile ("Profile"). You register using your mobile number, which is verified through a one-time password ("OTP"). One mobile number may be linked to only one Account.
- Each person may hold only one Account. If we find that a person operates more than one Account, we may suspend or remove all Accounts involved.
- You must provide accurate information and keep your Profile up to date.
- You are responsible for all activity under your Account. Do not share your OTP with anyone. Motorola and its partners will never ask you for your OTP.
- If you become aware of any unauthorised access to your Account, write to us immediately at support@motorollers.in.
- Your Account is personal to you. You may not buy, sell, transfer or lend your Account.
Usage of Platform
The Platform can be accessed through a compatible mobile device with internet access. You are solely responsible for your device, internet connection, software compatibility and any data or SMS charges. We make no warranty as to the availability of any telecommunication network or service needed to access the Platform.
You consent to automatically receiving updates such as bug fixes, patches, enhanced functions and new versions of the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after an update will be treated as acceptance of it.
Your Use of the Platform
You agree that:
- your use of the Platform shall not violate any applicable law or regulation;
- your use of the Platform shall be for personal purposes only and not for any commercial activity;
- all information you provide is true, complete and accurate;
- you shall not copy, modify, decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble or otherwise attempt to discover the source code of the Platform;
- you shall not use bots, spiders, crawlers, scrapers or other automated means to access the Platform or collect any data from it;
- you shall not upload or transmit any virus, malware or other harmful code, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform, its servers or any connected network;
- you shall not access or use the Platform in any manner that may harm its operation, may be unlawful, or may harm Motorola or any other user; and
- you shall comply with the community rules set out in our Terms and Conditions.
Use and Protection of Intellectual Property Rights
"Motorola", "moto", the Stylised M logo, "Motorollers", "Lenovo" and related marks, and all software, designs, text, graphics, images and other material on the Platform, other than content posted by users, belong exclusively to Motorola, its affiliates or its licensors, and are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws.
No right or licence in any of our intellectual property is granted to you, except the limited licence to use the Platform set out in these Terms. You shall not copy, reproduce or use any of our logos, brand names, marketing material or images, or remove any copyright or proprietary notices on the Platform. Any unauthorised use of our intellectual property will constitute an infringement and may be actionable under applicable law.
If you believe that any content on the Platform infringes your rights, please write to the Grievance Officer with details of the content and of your rights.
Communication
You agree that we may contact you through SMS, WhatsApp, email, in-app messages or push notifications for the purpose of:
- sending OTPs and security alerts relating to your Account;
- providing information about the Platform and Services, including moderation decisions and contest results;
- obtaining feedback in relation to the Platform or Services; and
- resolving any complaints or queries raised by you.
Promotional messages will be sent only where you have opted in. You may opt out at any time from the Platform settings or by following the unsubscribe instructions in the message. You may disable push notifications at any time through your device settings.
Privacy Policy
Our Privacy Policy explains what Personal Data we collect when you sign up for or use the Platform, why we collect it, and how we process it to provide the Services.
Disclaimer
The Platform and Services, including all content, software, functions, materials and information made available through them, are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may add, change, suspend or discontinue any feature or the Platform itself at any time.
We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, timely, error-free or free of viruses or other harmful components, or that it will be compatible with every device or network. We do not warrant the accuracy of any content posted by users.
Advice
None of the content posted by users, including repair steps, flashing instructions and third-party software, shall be deemed to be advice from Motorola. You act upon any such content at your sole risk. For official product support, please use Motorola's authorised service channels.
Indemnity and Release
You shall indemnify and hold Motorola, its affiliates and their officers, directors, employees, agents, partners and licensors harmless from any claim, demand, action, loss or penalty, including reasonable legal fees, made by any third party or imposed due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms, the Terms and Conditions or the Privacy Policy, any content you post, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall Motorola, its affiliates or their officers, directors, employees, agents, partners or licensors be liable to you or any third party for any special, incidental, indirect, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Platform or Services, or any content posted by other users. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Violation of Terms of Use
If we believe that you have breached these Terms, the Terms and Conditions or the Privacy Policy, we reserve the right to suspend or restrict your access to the Platform, with or without prior notice.
Termination
- You may stop using the Platform at any time. You may delete your Account from Profile > Settings > Delete Account in the Platform, or by submitting a request at motorollers.in/delete-account. Your Personal Data will then be deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.
- We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or the Terms and Conditions, if required by law, or if your continued access presents a risk to other users or to Motorola.
- On termination, you must stop using the Platform. The sections on Intellectual Property, Indemnity, Limitation of Liability and Governing Law shall survive termination.
Force Majeure
We shall not be responsible for any delay or failure in performing our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, fires, floods, pandemics, war, riots, strikes, cyber security incidents, failure of internet links or power, and actions by any government or regulatory authority.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms, the Platform and Services, and your relationship with us shall be governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Subject to any rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the courts at Bangalore, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Platform.
Assignment
You shall not transfer or assign any of your rights or obligations under these Terms. We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms, in whole or in part, to an affiliate or to a successor entity resulting from a merger, acquisition, demerger or reorganisation.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
General
These Terms, together with the Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy and any contest rules displayed in the Platform, constitute the entire agreement between you and Motorola with respect to the Platform. No joint venture, partnership, employment or agency relationship exists between you and Motorola as a result of these Terms.

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, if you do not receive a satisfactory response, you may escalate the matter to our Grievance Officer:
